Move the hell over Craigslist! Forget you, silly paper classified ads!

Facebook Marketplace is here.

These crafty little ads are nothing new, really. Most students have been using Facebook's "Share" or "Events" feature to market their old books, used couches and even cute dogs. Now Facebook has made space for users to do this freely - and with pictures.

And all for free.

Usage on my home network(s) rose tremendously during the first week of use. The most popular categories? Used books and housing.

If you thought social networking was posing a threat to ad dollars before, "you ain't seen nothin' yet."
