Interep said Tuesday afternoon that the initial results of its sales efforts targeting agency planners and account managers has netted $7.8 million in the six months ended Dec. 31. This represents new
dollars flowing into radio, the company said. The New York-based rep firm said that sellers and managers called on planners and/or upper-level agency decision-makers for 550 national accounts in the
last half of 2003. Twenty-seven orders have been placed with "a substantial number still pending," Interep said. Eighty more are in the final presentation stage, it said. "We look forward to
taking this program to the next level in 2004," said Jeff Dashev, president of the Interep Sales Division. "This is a great example of how Interep anticipates and services the changing needs of ad
agencies, including educating the full spectrum of agency decision-makers on the power and efficiency of radio."
