Macy's, which shook up its top marketing ranks earlier this week, has signed none other than Prince to a concert in its downtown Minneapolis store.
The Minneapolis Tribune reports
Prince will perform at least seven songs in a July 7 appearance in the eighth-floor auditorium of the Macy's store on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. (Yep, that's the seventh day of the seventh
month of the seventh year.) The downtown store hasn't had major musical acts since the 1960s, when the British rock band the Yardbirds performed.
