Fox Scores With Its Reality Slate

Fox continues to roll with reality this summer. Its third-year reality show, "Hell's Kitchen," improved 13% over last year's two-hour debut, with a 3.7 rating/10 share among 18-49 viewers--making it the most-viewed show of the night in that demo.

Fox has either tied or won every single night since last Tuesday--the day after Memorial Day--the customary start of the summer broadcast season.

On Tuesday of last week, Fox got the unusual kickoff with a high-rated "House" season finale, which ran outside the May sweep period. "House" was placed in this spot because the young filmmaker competition reality show, "On The Lot," took the usual "House" lead-out on Tuesday after "American Idol."

Fox earned a 3.0/9 for the evening on Monday, tops among all broadcast networks.

CBS was second for the night, with its best coming from a repeat of "Two and a Half Men" with a 3.3/9. CBS' debut of animated show, "Creature Comforts" at 8 p.m., averaged just a 1.8.

ABC was next with reruns of "Wife Swap" and "Supernanny" and an original of "The Ex-Wives Club." ABC earned a 2.4/7 for the night. "Wives" moved up to a 2.2/6 from a 2.0 the week before.

Near the bottom of the pack was the fourth game of the NHL Stanley Cup contest between the Anaheim Ducks and the Ottawa Senators. It only scored a 1.1/4 for the night.

The CW, also in reruns, was below NBC at a 0.8/2. MyNetworkTV's ultimate fighting show, "IFL Battleground," was last with a 0.5/2.
