O&M Execs Indicted For Over-Billing U.S.

Two Ogilvy & Mather executives have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States for allegedly over-billing the federal Office of the National Drug Control Policy campaign for a media campaign to stop illegal drugs. Ogilvy finance director Thomas Early and executive group director Shona Siefert were named in a 14-page indictment filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York. They are accused, along with at least one unnamed co-conspirator, of overcharging the government for labor costs under the contract.
