A regional division of Macy's says that it has pulled a T-shirt aimed at Hispanic shoppers because some might have found "Brown is the New White" offensive.

The shirts were available in 18 stores in Georgia and Texas.

"We are constantly looking for unique and differentiated merchandise that will resonate with our customers as hip, current and trendy," says Kamal Bosamia, a spokesperson for Macy's South. "We apologize if customers have found some of the merchandise offensive and have removed the style that they found objectionable."
