A day after Bloomberg’s financial magazine shut down, Bloomberg Markets magazine will begin limited newsstand distribution with its February 2003 issue. The monthly has 202,000 readers, including all subscribers to the Bloomberg Professional service, a provider of real-time news and information. Until now, the magazine had been available primarily to those subscribers. The February issue of Bloomberg Markets will make its debut in limited retail outlets in 25 cities worldwide. The cover price will be $4.95 in the US, 3.25 pounds sterling in the UK, and 4.95 euros in Europe. The magazine will appear on newsstands in New York and London, and in bookstores and airports in cities including Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Toronto, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
