Jockey Debuts New Line For Active Men

  • September 14, 2007
Jockey International, Inc., the Kenosha, Wisc.-based undershorts manufacturer, is launching a new line of briefs called GO Collections.

The new SKU is intended to address complaints among active men about the limitations of traditional briefs. Per research commissioned by Jockey, 64% of American men are generally uncomfortable in their briefs during a workout. For the study, Los Angeles-based Kelton Research polled 1,000 adults across the country from July 30 to Aug. 3.

According to the study, men complain, in descending order, about underwear that rides up; discomfort from moisture; elastic that is too tight or too loose; and discomfort from heat.

Jockey's GO Collections include Stretch Classic version and a GO Mesh version with polyester, and have a suggested retail price of $19.50 for a two-pack.
