Hyundai Taps Romero For Multi-Culti Marketing Role

Hyundai Motor America has named Patricia Romero national manager of multicultural marketing for the company. Romero will be responsible for all ethnic marketing and advertising in the United States for the Fountain Valley, Calif. automaker. She will report directly to Chris Perry, senior national manager of marketing communications.

Romero was most recently director of strategic marketing at Bumpercar, Inc., a Hispanic advertising agency. Before that, she was California marketing manager for DaimlerChrysler. She has also been marketing manager for Toshiba America, where she handled U.S. and international advertising and marketing; and global sales and marketing manager for American Honda Motor Co., where she piloted expansion efforts in Latin America.
