Kellogg Elects Knauss To Directors Board

Kellogg Company has elected Donald R. Knauss, chairman/CEO of The Clorox Company, to its board of directors. Formerly president/COO of Coca-Cola North America, Knauss took leadership of Clorox in October 2006.

Knauss, who had been at The Coca-Cola Company for 12 years in such roles as president of Coca-Cola's South African Division, was named EVP/Coca-Cola Co. and president/COO, Coca-Cola North America in 2003.

Before that, he was at archrival PepsiCo, in its Frito-Lay and Tropicana divisions. A former officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, Knauss began his career in consumer product goods at Procter & Gamble as a brand manager in 1981.
