Shopping isn't the same as buying, but if it's an indication of which showrooms consumers are heading to, then Toyota and Honda haven't got too much to worry about. According to IntelliChoice.com,
the two Torrance, Calif.-based automakers ruled the Top 10 most-researched vehicles online last month.
According to the firm, Honda had three of the ten most-researched
vehicles--including the most, the second and the fourth--and Toyota had five. The firm says the Top 10 were, in order, Honda Accord and Civic; Toyota Camry; Honda CR-V; Toyota's Tacoma, Highlander and
Rav-4; Chevrolet Silverado; Nissan Altima and Toyota Prius.
IntelliChoice also says this month's list includes the same vehicles from September. The only change was Toyota's Prius, which knocked
Mazda 3 off the list.
By brand name, the most-researched new vehicles at IntelliChoice.com belonged to Toyota. For used vehicles, Ford came out on top.
