Googleplex Attracts Presidential Hopefuls

The Googleplex, it seems, has become something of a compulsory stop for the 2008 Presidential candidates. Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Edwards, John McCain, Bill Richardson, Mike Gravel, Ron Paul and now, Barack Obama, have all paid a visit to HQ. Others will surely follow, as Google represents the future of technology, making the Googleplex an unmissable photo-op for the presidential hopefuls.

Each of the Google candidate sessions--between 45 and 60 minutes long--has been accessible on YouTube, but few have watched because of their length. Senator Clinton's 43-minute session has drawn 54,000 viewers since February, Obama and Edwards even less. Meanwhile, clips like "I Got a Crush...on Obama," which features a large-breasted woman lip-syncing, and "Vote Different," the Apple "1984" Hillary Clinton parody, have each attracted 4 million-plus viewers.
