Microsoft Touts More Than 10 Million Subscribers To Xbox Live Network

Microsoft announced that it reached the 10 million subscriber mark for Xbox Live, the online network for Xbox 360 console owners.

Gamers use Xbox Live to download new content and play Massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs) and other network activities. Annual subscription fees are about $50.

The stats have financial types like Silicon Alley Insider's Henry Blodget pegging the recurring revenue portion of Xbox's overall revenues at close to $500 million annually.
