Mobile media company SendMe Mobile is teaming with Interscope Geffen A&M Records to promote music acts through SendMe's SoLow.com sweepstakes game.
Players typically compete by trying to
guess the lowest price bid for prizes ranging from resort vacations to laptop computers. Through the Interscope promotion, the SoLow.com contest winner will get to spend a day with hip-hop star Soulja
Boy Tellem on tour in London.
The all expense-paid trip includes going to live press interviews, radio stops and other events. Tellem is the first of a dozen Interscope artists to be promoted
during 2008 through the SendMe partnership. Last fall, SendMe worked with AEGLive to promote Ozzy Osbourne's concert tour via a SoLow auction in which the winner got to spend Thanksgiving with aging
rock star.
