Disney Interactive Studios, Disney's game and interactive IP division, has appointed Jean-Marcel Nicolai to the position of senior vice president, global production.
In his new
role, Nicolai will oversee global development and production of video games that come out of the division's five studios (including Avalanche Software and Black Rock Studio), as well as external
projects and future studio expansion.
Nicolai comes to Glendale, Calif.-based Disney Interactive Studios from Atari, the U.S. division of Infogrames Entertainment. During his tenure as CTO and
senior vice president, product development, Atari released titles such as "Test Drive Unlimited" and "Dragon Ball Z."
