You, Me & Wii?

I step up to the plate, brush off my shoulders, eye the pitcher down, and swing the remote controller? Who needs fresh air and actual friends when you have a Wii?

I must admit, I'm your stereotypical girl who dislikes video games. However, I've had the opportunity to play with a Wii recently, and found myself getting into the action.

I have always been an advocate for fresh air and non-virtual friends but upon playing with the Wii, I can see its many advantages. Recent articles have shown nursing homes are using this product to engage their residents. The game also reaches out to audiences outside the powerhouse of the male teenage consumer. If you've seen it's recent commercials you know that Nintendo is reaching out to older audiences and yes, girls like me.

I must admit I have 'experienced a new way to play'.

Welcome to the Wii family. It really is true that once a person plays, they understand what all the talk is about.
