Van de Paal Joins Spotzer Media Group

  • January 29, 2008
Spotzer Media Group, which produces ready-to-air video commercials, has hired Van de Paal to lead its ad-creation studio.

Most recently, Paal was business development director in the London office of Y&R's Wunderman group, and served on the agency's executive board. In his new role, Van de Paal will be responsible for managing Spotzer's creative and content acquisition teams.

Spotzer maintains a library of customizable video spots which offer a cheaper alternative to traditional TV air time. Small and mid-size marketers can use the Spotzer platform to create campaigns across TV, the Web and out-of-home networks for as little as $7,500. The Amsterdam-based company started by former Wit Capital founder Andrew Klein closed a $15 million venture capital round in November.
