Omnicom, the world's largest agency holding company, and the parent of the OMD and PHD media networks, this morning announced a 13.2% gain (to $313.9 million) in net income for the fourth quarter of
2007, on a revenue gain of 12.7% (to $3.626 billion). Domestic U.S. revenues lagged Omnicom's global growth, rising only 9.5% to $1.846 billion, while international revenues grew at nearly double that
rate: 16.3% to $1.789 billion.
Net income for calendar 2007 increased 12.9% to $975.7 million, while revenues grew 11.6% to $12.694 billion.
