Harris: Boomers Biggest Users Of Net News

The press has a trust gap with Americans. Some 54% don't trust it, and 46% don't trust TV news. Forty-one percent trust Internet news, per a new poll from HarrisInteractive. Democrats trust the media more than the GOP, but what's surprising is that while most Americans get their news from more traditional sources--TV, cable, and newspapers--baby boomers are more likely to use Web sites for national newspapers (40%) and the cable television networks (40%) than younger demos.
