Mount Everest Climb Delayed; Leader Hurt and Out of Ascent

Outdoor Life Network's live coverage of a Mount Everest climb has been delayed until at least today or Saturday, the network said. Since arriving at a base camp near the summit, OLN's handpicked team of amateur climbers and experienced guides have suffered several setbacks. The summit attempt, originally scheduled Thursday, has been postponed several times and several climbers have dropped out. Most recently, climbing leader Chris Warner sustained a possible concussion when he was hit in the head with an oxygen bottle. Guide Mark Whetu will now lead the climb, which has lost another participant, Petit Pinson, who has opted not to continue.
