The premiere of The History Channel special Russia: Land of the Tsars has delivered the highest ratings ever on the network. The shows, which premiered May 26 and 27, delivered a 3 rating for both
nights. It also averaged 3.4 million viewers, which is the most ever for The History Channel. Programming experienced viewership increases in every daypart for the month of May, including a 29%
increase in HH ratings (0.7 to 0.9) and males 25-54 impressions grew 24% compared to a year ago, from 266,000 to 322,000.
