Disney is looking outside the U.S. for new shows. It has OK'd a new series "Jungle Junction," which was developed by a small U.K. animation company. Anne Sweeney, co-chair of Disney Media Networks and
president of Disney-ABC Television Group, told the
Financial Times that locally produced shows would play a growing role for the group. Disney already announced the launch of "Bunnytown," a
puppet programm for pre-school audiences made in the UK.
