Eric Brown has been named Chief Financial Officer of Electronic Arts. He returns to the Redwood City, Calif.-based game publishing giant after a stint at McAfee as both CFO and COO. Brown will assume
his new role on April 14.
Brown served as COO of EA's Redwood Shores studio in the mid-'90s, before taking on the role of president and CFO of MicroStrategy, followed by the leadership
positions at McAfee.
"Eric's strong financial background, broad international experience and industry knowledge makes him a perfect fit for EA," said John Riccitiello, EA's CEO. In a statement,
company spokesperson Holly Rockwood agreed, saying that Brown was a "known cultural fit."
