Video ad management provider BlackArrow today is expected to announce several strategic partnerships to insure the proper distribution of its ad management system for broadband, video-on-demand, and DVR video platforms.

The new partners include content delivery company Highwinds, playback technology provider Move Networks, and thePlatform, a Comcast-owned video-publishing and distribution service.

BlackArrow recently gained a new level of respectability with the naming of Larry Kramer, MarketWatch founder and former CBS Interactive head, as chairman of its board of directors.

The San Mateo, Calif.-based company also recently announced the addition of Tracy Martin, former Yahoo and Knight Ridder Digital executive, as chief financial officer.
