Washington Lawyer Named New AAF Chief

James Edmund Datri, a partner in Washington, DC law firm McDermott Will & Emery, has been named the new president-CEO of the American Advertising Federation. Datri--who has a long track record in advertising issues as well as government and public policy--succeeds Wally Snyder, who last September announced plans to retire later this year. Datri assumes his new role on Nov. 1. The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, with a membership of 50,000 advertising professionals.
