President George W. Bush will appear today in his first online-only interview courtesy of a joint effort by Yahoo and Washington, D.C.-based political news outlet Politico.

The interview is taking place on the White House lawn and being conducted by Politico's Mike Allen. The complete video interview will be featured on the Yahoo News homepage Tuesday afternoon, with analysis and a full transcript available on Politico.com.

The Bush interview is the latest in a series of election-year initiatives by Yahoo including an effort it called the first online presidential debate and the launch of its Political Dashboard, providing a snapshot of various metrics to track the presidential race.
