Don Mischer will return as executive producer of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' 55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards telecast on Sunday, Sept. 21. Mischer has been executive producer of a
number of specials, including The Kennedy Center Honors, Baryshnikov by Tharp, The 100th Anniversary of Carnegie Hall and the Opening Ceremony of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. He
won two Emmy awards for the Tony Awards ceremonies. The 55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Fox from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Nominations will be announced July 17 from the
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
