KickApps Selected By Budget Travel

Social media platform provider KickApps has been selected by Budget Travel to power new social media features on the publisher's site.

In an effort to increase visitor interactivity and engagement, the upgraded BudgetTravel.com will enable readers to maintain a travel profile and share tips, photos, video, and Travel Journals with other site visitors.

Using the KickApps Platform, BudgetTravel.com intends to give travel enthusiasts and aspiring travel writers the chance to become 'uncertified' tour guides.

In addition, Budget Travel kicks off its "A Perfect Day In..." series in June with "A Perfect Day in...Santa Fe." Editors of Budget Travel will select reader-submitted stories and reviews of the best things to do in cool cities across the United States. Reader-submitted content, including photos and videos of the destinations, will be featured prominently on BudgetTravel.com.

Other KickApps media clients include ABC Family, CW Television, Scripps Network Interactive, HBO, and Cox Television, among others.
