This is an interesting question. Most direct marketers would love that capability; however, social media in general is not a direct marketing channel. You have to wonder when online advertising will evolve to a point where we actually have this capability. After all, just a few short years ago we were simply wishing for better tracking to produce tangible results. Now that the industry is making strides in behavioral targeting, online marketers are continuing to think forward and strive for more. Today the Social Media breakout conceptualized a new form of targeting - Predictive Behavioral Targeting! Â
While we cannot be sure how far away this type of functionality may be, likely several years, it is quite exciting to be a part of an industry that is constantly evolving!Â
