CBS Sports' 2003 college football schedule begins in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 30, when Pac-10 powerhouse USC takes on Auburn from Jordan Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala. Verne Lundquist and Todd Blackledge return for the fourth consecutive year to call the action as the CBS Television Network's lead college football announce team. Jill Arrington serves as lead reporter. CBS Sports begins the third year of expanded coverage of Southeastern Conference (SEC) football with exclusive national network broadcasts of SEC home games throughout the season. Highlighting the schedule is the much-anticipated match-up between Tennessee and Florida. The Gators and Volunteers will continue their intense SEC East rivalry on Saturday, Sept. 20, during CBS Sports' SEC national doubleheader. Defending SEC Champion Georgia will battle LSU in the other contest. For 14 Saturdays, CBS Sports will present live national coverage of the best SEC regular-season action the Conference has to offer concluding with the SEC Championship game featuring the Eastern and Western Division champions on Saturday, Dec. 6. All SEC games will be announced six to 12 days prior to their broadcast date.
