Verizon Wireless and Nokia are making like Batman and Robin to offer a special Batman-themed version of the Nokia 6025 handset in advance of the July 18 theatrical release of the "The Dark Knight."

The black clamshell model features a Batman emblem and comes pre-loaded with wallpapers, voice tones and animated screensavers tied to the upcoming film as well as a full movie trailer.

The Bat phone, launched June 15 through Verizon's online retail store, also provides access to a promotional site featuring contest results, games and additional "Dark Knight"-related content. No word on whether the device lets users send out a Bat-Signal over Gotham City.
