Cost-per-acquisition (CPA) ad network provider Hydra Network has added another facet to its roster of advertising options. It's Hydra Elite, a fully transparent network compiled of nearly two dozen
high-volume publishers in the display, email and search channels.
Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Hydra reviews all aspects of a publisher's operating structure before admitting them
into Hydra Elite, including privacy and compliance policies, as well as overall traffic quality. Properties included in the new network's initial launch include Friendster.com, Bloosky Interactive
Media and Digital Moses, and advertisers can see when and where their ads will run before making a buy. Hydra Elite also offers performance reports on a per-publisher basis.
According to Hydra
Network CEO Zac Brandenberg, Hydra Elite's transparency makes running CPA campaigns more attractive--particularly given the current economy. "We're able to offer the economics of running CPA with all
the control of buying CPM," Brandenberg said.
