People in need of a place to boast about their sporting, work or other life achievements have a new social network to turn to, called BragThis.com. The New York-based network invites prospective
members to "check your modesty at the door" before they create a profile and publicize their accomplishments.
After creating a profile, braggarts can start adding their "Boasts" or
bragging rights. Users upload photos, audio or video clips as part of their sworn testimony regarding an achievement, and receive digital certificates, trophies, and points added to their total score.
Members with the highest scores can compete via the BragThis.com Leader Board to win prizes, and of course, bragging rights.
Boast-worthy deeds can also be shared across member profiles on other
social networks including MySpace and Facebook. Members can also order memorabilia like mugs, T-shirts and mouse pads emblazoned with their Boast certificates and accomplishments.
