Good Health Advertising Closes Financing Round

Good Health Advertising (GHA), which includes health and medical Web sites and email patient lists, has closed an initial round of financing of just under $1 million lead by Gersh Venture Partners based in New York City along with a group of Internet focused individual investors.

The financing comes as the privately held New York-based company continues a growth spurt. In its first comScore ranking, monthly unique visitors in the U.S. topped 8 million according to comScore ("Media Sets with Duplication" - June 2008), putting GHA among the top 15 health web properties. GHA's select portfolio of sites generates more than 43 million pages views.

GHA was founded by Robert Kadar, who was in charge of national advertising sales for the Healthology division of iVillage, an NBC Universal Company, where he helped launch the first advertising sales efforts for the medical content syndicator.
