Halogen Launches Ad Network Targeting Afflent Browsers

  • July 8, 2008
Halogen Publishers is the latest ad network trying to edge its way into the crowded display market. And instead of targeting a specific category of interest, the San Francisco-based company is helping advertisers reach consumers in households that earn over $1 million annually.

"Traditionally it's been difficult to segment this highly desirable demographic with advertising," said Halogen Publishers Founder and CEO Gregory Shove. "They don't gather in one spot online, but rather read an increasingly diverse mix of websites and blogs." Shove said that the network would act as a "matchmaker" to bring advertisers and publishers together to better reach these affluent consumers.

Marquis Jet and luxury hotelier St. Regis are among Halogen Publisher's current roster of advertisers, which have their pick of more than 20 properties, including Seeking Alpha, VentureBeat and luxe e-tailer Vivre.
