AMC's 'Breaking Bad' returns In Early '09

AMC is scoring with its original dramas. First with "Mad Men," now with "Breaking Bad,"which debuted in January. The second season's opening episode will be directed by its Emmy-nominated star, Bryan Cranston. His prior TV directing credits include "Malcolm in the Middle." The 13-episode second season of Breaking Bad is set to debut on AMC in early 2009. "Breaking Bad" follows the story of a chemistry teacher diagnosed with Stage III cancer and the lengths he will go to secure financial security for his family. The series explores how a typical family man changes in dire circumstances.
