The Dearborn, Mich. automaker will kill the Taurus X wagon and Mercury Sable sedan next year, according to the
Detroit News, which says it got wind of the company's intentions from internal
documents.
Sales of the crossover Taurus X are off 25% this year, and the Sable has lost 8% of its volume so far this year, versus last year. --Karl Greenberg
