BBC drama chief Jane Tranter may move to the U.S. to oversee a new BBC Worldwide West Coast drama production division next year, reports
The Hollywood Reporter. While the BBC won't comment,
negotiations are said to be underway. Tranter, who is the executive behind "Doctor Who" and "Spooks," also worked with HBO on "Rome." If the BBC deal works out, she'll develop major dramas for the
American market.
