Disney-ABC TV Adds To Digital Team

The Disney-ABC Television Group has added three executives to its digital team this week, chief among them Karin Timpone, who joins as senior vice president of product strategy and marketing.

Timpone previously held several senior leadership positions at Yahoo, as head of marketing for the media division, then in corporate as head of consumer/customer innovation.

Also coming over from Yahoo is Lauren DeVillier who is joining the Disney Channel as vice president of digital media. DeVillier most recently oversaw the Yahoo Kids business, where she was responsible for all aspects of the division, including strategy, content, research and business management.

Finally, Beth Johnson is moving over from Bravo, where she served as editorial director of digital media. At ABC, Johnson will serve as vice president of digital media at ABC's Daytime and SOAPnet divisions.--Gavin O'Malley
