  • September 10, 2008
Online ad agency Spot Runner has hired Jon Rosen as vice president of sales and business development and Elizabeth Carrasco as vice president of online engineering in its its local marketing services group.

Rosen, who joins from Autobytel, will lead Spot Runner's efforts to sell its products and services in local markets and forge partnerships with national companies that have a local presence. Carrasco will guide the engineering team in creating and refining related advertising technologies.

The new hires were announced the same day Yahoo announced bringing on Joanne K. Bradford, Spot Runner's former head of national sales, as senior vice president of U.S. revenue and market development. Bradford had joined the company only last March.

Rosabel Tao, Spot Runner's vice president of corporate communications, said in a statement that company president John Gentry would assume Bradford's responsibilities in the interim until a successor is hired. "Spot Runner's strategy for the National Marketing Services group remains on track," she said.--Mark Walsh
