Karmazin: Advertisers Flee Sirius XM

Sirius XM chief Mel Karmazin says the company has not met its goal of advertising returning 10% in revenue. In the present economic climate, he says advertisers are "leaving in droves," reports Marketwatch. That reality impacts both satellite and traditional radio broadcasters, although Karmazin says his subscription model helps. He believes that as the base grows, so will advertisers.
