Online marketing firm Seevast Corp. has promoted Jaan Janes to president of business and product development, and Jeff Kamikow to president of sales and operations.

Janes and Kamikow will assume all responsibilities of former CEO Lance Podell, who recently left to pursue other interests. No new CEO will be named. The two will effectively serve as co-presidents-- overseeing lines of business which include Pulse 360, the sponsored-links service, and SyndiGO, which allows publishers to create vertical ad networks.

Janes said the company would have dual leadership "because we are fundamentally a business of two parts. One is selling products for distribution and the other is selling ads against them." He called Podell's departure part of a "managed transition."

Previously, senior vice president of business development, Janes will develop and manage the publisher base for all Seevast divisions and lead efforts to build new businesses and applications. Kamikow, who had been vice president of sales, will oversee advertising revenue in all divisions, lead sales and customer service teams and create new ad network-related opportunities.--Mark Walsh
