Jill Balis has been named managing director, strategy and analytics of SMG Search. SMG Search is one arm of SMG Performance Marketing (SMG PM), a unique division of Starcom MediaVest that focuses on
performance-based marketing tactics (including search, direct response, analytics and consulting).
Balis most recently served as SVP, director of consumer acquisition and strategy at
SMG PM. Prior to that, she lead e-marketing at Orbitz. Balis is replacing Steve Governale, who is relocating and will no longer be working with the company.--Tameka Kee
