While big brands are seeking to capitalize on short-form video content and the transition of traditional media to the internet, San Mateo, Calif.-based Jivox aims to help small advertisers find online video success with local video on established Web properties that are proven to reach customers at a local level via Jivox AdSlate 3.0.
Jivox AdSlate 3.0 includes more robust ad creation tools, expanded distribution methods, greater ease of use and improved behind-the-scenes targeting to help companies develop high-impact online video advertising campaigns.
"The tremendous success Jivox has seen since our launch earlier this year has more than validated the need for a DIY approach to online video ads," said Diaz Nesamoney, CEO of Jivox, in a statement.
The announcement comes on the heels of news that Jivox has experienced four-fold growth from the previous quarter in total number of customers, and that ad revenue grew four times from the previous quarter. Jivox Publisher Network has grown to 600 local TV, radio and newspaper Web sites that reach 55 million unique visitors.--Tanya Irwin
