Social media company Buzznet has formed a partnership with The Superficial in which in which it will take over all ad sales for the celebrity site. Under the deal, The Superficial will become part of
Buzznet's Celebuzz.com entertainment community site.
Launched in June, Celebuzz--which also includes other sites such as Just Jared and Socialite Life--has a monthly U.S. audience
of 4.8 million. Buzznet overall reaches nearly 10 million people. The company has raised funding from investors including Sutter Hill Ventures, Redpoint Ventures and Universal Music Group.--Mark
