Interpublic Group's Initiative on Thursday announced the hiring of Amy Auerbach to lead its New York digital operations as SVP, director, digital. The media agency has also promoted its U.S. head of
interactive operations, Michael Hayes, to the position of EVP, managing director, digital.
Auerbach most recently served as director of interactive at PHDiQ, the digital arm of
Omnicom media shop PHD. There, she led its East Coast operations, overseeing digital media for Chrysler, HBO, Discovery Networks, Siemens, and AIG.
Previously, she was vice president and digital
group account director at Havas' Media Contacts.
Initiative's clients include Bayer, CBS, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Computer Associates, Gateway, MillerCoors, Nikon, Quiznos, and SC
