BowTie Unveils Interactive Video Features

  • December 3, 2008
Irvine, Calif.-based BowTie, Inc., publisher of pet and animal magazines and Web sites, has unveiled the addition of a new interactive video platform for all of its sites.

This new platform allows visitors to upload video clips to share with site visitors, as well as view other user-generated clips.

This new feature to the channels also allows visitors to describe the video they are uploading, rate the videos they are viewing and leave comments about the video they have just viewed. The respective channel editors will pick a video to be featured each month.--Tanya Irwin

How is that "interactive video"? Thats just slapping some social media features in there that can be found on just about any other player, like Viddler or YouTube.
