Scripps Taps Endeca For Intelligent Site Search

  • December 16, 2008
Scripps Networks Digital has deployed Endeca Technologies' site search, navigation and content publishing tools on HGTV.com, allowing the publisher to trigger contextual ads and serve up product offerings to consumers with every search.

The site has been redesigned as part of a push to find new revenue streams from digital media.

Glen Allen, Va.-based Ironworks, a systems integrator, built intuitive features into the site to support visitors and Scripps' editors and producers. For example, Guided Navigation lets site visitors refine and sort long lists of search results by type, tips and tools.
