David Shearer Takes MRM Worldwide SVP ECD Role

MRM Worldwide has tapped David Shearer as SVP, executive creative director, for the digital marketing agency's San Francisco office, effective Jan.19.

Shearer, who began his career as a freelance copywriter in London at Saatchi & Saatchi, takes responsibility for the Microsoft account, driving creative processes for MRM's San Francisco and Seattle offices. He reports to Wing Pepper, EVP, managing director of MRM San Francisco and Seattle, and Rob Bagot, chief creative officer, McCann Worldgroup San Francisco.

Prior to joining the San Francisco office, Shearer served as creative lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa at OgilvyOne/Ogilvy Interactive London. In this role he led teams for IBM and Cisco across EMEA. Other clients included American Express, British Petroleum, British Telecom, Cancer Research U.K., Ford of Europe, Motorola, Nestle, Purina Pet Foods and SunSilk.
