MobiTV Partners With CBS

  • January 7, 2009
Mobile broadcaster MobiTV has added CBS to its programming lineup, offering full-length episodes of primetime shows such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "CSI:NY" as well as daytime soaps like "The Young and the Restless." Episodes will available to MobiTV subscribers on AT&T Wireless and Sprint the day after broadcast.

The service will also feature video-on-demand news, sports and comedy clips from CBS's mobile division. MobiTV already provides more than 40 channels with content from partners including ABC, NBC, ESPN and Discovery Networks. Last month it passed 5 million subscribers worldwide.--Mark Walsh
